Fire Precautions
The Fire Prevention Officers at Harrogate insist on five rules being strictly kept:
- No flammable drapes may be used by exhibitors.
- No rubbish or other flammable goods may be left around stands or in adjacent corridors in a manner which presents a fire risk.
- Clear access must be left to all Fire Exits and all Isles.
- Every stand that has a television and/or video and monitor MUST have a CO2 fire extinguisher on their stand.
- Please don't operate steam irons, kettles or boilers under the fire sensors.
The Organisers will appreciate your co-operation in this.
The North Yorkshire Fire Brigade has considerably tightened its fire precaution procedures in recent years.
