Time to reflect

With just a week to go until the big day, excitement is high in households across the country as children eagerly await Santa’s arrival.

Those of us who have left their Christmas shopping to the last minute will no doubt reap the rewards of their disorganisation, as stores across the UK slash their prices by as much as 70%. This is a busy week for retailers as they attempt to shift the last of their festive stock – and a great opportunity to reflect on what have been best selling products for the 2016 season. Of course fashions continually move forward, but buyers attending Harrogate Christmas & Gift will have a much greater insight into the type of product ranges they should be considering for Christmas 2017.

With over 100 exhibitors – and 25 of these brand new to the show – filling nine halls of the Harrogate International Centre, visitors will be spoilt for choice with home and garden ware, gift ware for all occasions, glass and ornaments, toys and novelty products –  and of course everything imaginable for Christmas. Don’t forget to pre-register online!

Tractor-tastic!

Tractor Ted, the award-winning children’s real life farming brand is thrilled to be attending the show for the first time in 2017Tractor Ted and has a wealth of gorgeous products to fit Santa’s budget. Endorsed by some of the UK's favourite celebrities - Ben Fogle, Kate Humble and Clare Balding - the Tractor Ted range includes books, DVDs, gifts, toys, apparel and homeware. 2017 sees a second year of Tractor Ted on Nick Jr. and Nick Jr. Too with its series of real life farm mini-clips.

Bumper jumpers

The Christmas Jumper CompanyThe Christmas Jumper Grotto returns to Harrogate with even more wild and wacky Christmas Jumpers for the whole family!  Laura and the team have been busy working on some fantastic new jumper designs for Christmas 2017 and are looking forward to another good year at the show.  Laura comments: “Last year was the first year selling my jumpers and I got such a a great response with everyone commenting on the outstanding quality and affordability. This year I have added more ladies’ and children’s styles and I also have a festive collection of shirts, dresses and aprons that I hope will be popular.  I’m really looking forward to seeing the buyers that I met at last year’s show and welcome new customers to my stand.”
